Why is Pentecostalism so huge among Latinos?

June 14th, 2011

Una Cita Con el Rey (An Appointment with the King)

June 9th, 2011

On my previous post I shared with everyone that we were attempting to put a play together.  I want to thank everyone that helped bring this play to fruition! It turned out to be quite a production; complete with lighting (Mario, Chuy, Antonio), costumes (Yoly Moya, Sister Barrera, Chayo), scenery (The Mauricio Sisters), and an original script written by yours trully.

The acting was superb! We had stellar performances from the queen herself (Selene), Mardoqueo (bro. Nicholas), Principe Aman (bro. Ruben Mauricio), to name just a few (in fact if you ask me, though I might be a bit biased, every actor in the play did an amazing job). And a spectacular perfomance by Uswaldo Vasquez in portraying King Asuero.

We will be uploading the entire play soon! Be on the lookout for it, and of course all comments are welcome. Including ideas on how to improve future performances.   On behalf of all the cast and crew, we hope you enjoy!!

Part I.
